Convenience: Plastic syringes are lighter and easier to carry and use. They’re also easier to handle and control, since plastic syringes often have graduations and adjustable dose controls for precise metering of medication.

Economical: The production cost of plastic syringes is relatively low, it can be produced on a large scale, and it is easy to automate the filling and packaging process to improve production efficiency.

Plastic syringes have become a popular choice. Compared to glass syringes, they are less expensive and durable, usually free of heavy metals and tungsten, and have little silanization. However, plastic syringes are less gas barrier than glass syringes, so if you are working with degassed samples or samples that are very sensitive to oxygen, plastic syringes may not be suitable.

PFS, Pre-Filled Syringe.

Purpose: packaging and storage of high-grade drugs, and directly used for injection or washing in ophthalmology / otolaryngology / orthopedics / surgery.

Pre-filled syringe can be used for patients who are not suitable for oral medication.

No secondary pollution: air contact, glass damage, solid particles, drug waste, inaccurate dose.

Semi-automatic, beehive type (glass), straight/runway type (4/6/8/10 heads, plastic), rotary type (single head/double head, glass/plastic).

Glass: vacuum filling and plugging.
Plastic: bottom filling (assembled), purple filling plus filling plus plug plus rotating rod.

Tightness, loading, foreign matter, bubble, skew plug.

The use of prefilled syringes helps reduce injection preparation steps, potentially reducing the risk of medical errors by medical professionals and the risk of microbial contamination.

Pre-filled syringe can be used for patients who are not suitable for oral medication. Pre-filled syringe can be used for drugs not suitable for oral use.
